Each carving begins as a custom digital relief design, with every building, landscape feature, sign, and decorative element individually modelled to create a layered three-dimensional composition. Using CNC carving technology, the scene is precision carved from quality wood before being carefully hand-finished to refine the finer details.
The artwork is then sealed and hand-painted using multiple layers of premium acrylic paints. Transparent washes add depth and warmth to the timber structures and landscape, while careful dry-brushing highlights textures throughout the carving. The sky is blended by hand to create a sense of distance, and each feature—from the vintage aircraft to the runway marker and theatre signage—is individually painted to capture the colourful, nostalgic feel of the attraction.
Finally, a durable protective finish is applied to preserve the artwork for years to come.
