How It’s Made

Each piece begins as a digital relief sculpture before being carefully carved from wood using a CNC machine. Multiple layers of depth are incorporated into the design to create dimension throughout the scene, from the bamboo frame and tropical flowers to the beach setting and character details.

Once carving is complete, the piece is hand-finished, sanded, sealed, and individually painted using a combination of washes, airbrushed shading, and hand-painted highlights. This process allows the carved details to remain visible while bringing warmth, colour, and depth to the finished artwork.

The result is a highly detailed wooden relief that combines traditional craftsmanship with modern carving technology, with every piece receiving individual finishing by hand before leaving the workshop.
