Haunted Mansion Book Shelf

This piece begins as a custom digital relief sculpture designed to recreate the layered storytelling and atmospheric detail of a haunted gothic bookshelf scene. Individual elements including the books, mansion façade, graveyard gates, ghostly figures and decorative props are carefully modelled to create depth, texture and visual flow across the composition.

The design is then precision CNC carved from solid oak, allowing the fine lettering, architectural details and organic textures to be reproduced with exceptional accuracy. After carving, the piece is extensively hand-finished and painted using layered washes, dry brushing and aged patina techniques to give the artwork a vintage haunted attraction feel while still preserving the natural warmth and grain of the wood beneath.
