Created to resemble a weathered expedition supply crate from a vintage jungle outpost, this piece combines layered scenic carving, distressed timber textures and playful safari-inspired details to create a functional display piece with strong themed storytelling and sculptural depth.
The artwork is precision CNC carved from solid oak, allowing the intricate crate textures, carved signage and miniature safari details to be reproduced with exceptional accuracy. Once carved, the tissue box cover is individually hand-finished and painted using layered washes, weathering techniques and subtle highlighting to enhance the aged expedition aesthetic while preserving the natural warmth and grain character of the oak beneath.
