How It’s Made
Each house number plaque is individually designed around the customer’s chosen house number, ensuring every piece is completely bespoke. The layout combines digitally sculpted relief artwork with carefully layered themed elements to create depth, balance, and visual storytelling.
Using CNC carving technology, the plaque, house number, mansion façade, characters, and decorative details are precision carved from quality wood before being hand-finished to remove machining marks and refine the finer details. The layered construction allows key features to stand proudly from the background, creating a striking three-dimensional effect.
The carving is then sealed before being hand-painted using multiple layers of acrylic paints, washes, and dry-brushing techniques to recreate the Haunted Mansion’s distinctive ghostly atmosphere. Subtle highlights and shading enhance the depth of the relief, while individual features are carefully picked out to draw the eye across the composition.
Finally, the plaque is protected with a durable clear finish suitable for display, resulting in a handcrafted piece that combines traditional woodworking, precision carving, hand painting, and personalised design into a one-of-a-kind welcome for your home.
